DIRECTIONS

By car:

From M1 northbound - exit at Junction 34, take second exit at the roundabout onto A6178 south, and go straight ahead for 2.5 miles. Follow the road as it joins the A6109 towards the city centre. Approaching the Wicker arches, turn right, signposted towards Wicker, and having passed under the arches, turn right again onto the ringroad (A61). Cross the river Don and take the second left onto Corporation Street. Turn right at the roundabout past the Emergency Services Museum. Second left up Furnace Hill, second right onto Trinity Street.

 

From M1 southbound- exit at Junction 34, take the fourth exit at the roundabout, Meadowhall Road (A6109) towards the city centre. Go straight on for 3 miles. Approaching the Wicker arches, turn right, signposted towards Wicker, and having passed under the arches, turn right again onto the Ringroad (A61). Cross the river Don and take the second left onto Corporation Street. Turn right at the roundabout past the Emergency Services Museum. Second left up Furnace Hill, second right onto Trinity Street.

 

 

From Hillsborough via Penistone Road- Approach the roundabout at Shalesmoor, turning right onto the Ringroad Southbound. Take the second left onto Scotland Street. Take the fourth left (opposite the karaoke bar) onto Furnace Street, and the first left onto Trinity Street. From Sheffield South/West- At the Brook Hill/University roundabout, take the exit towards Cathedral Quarter, Broad Lane. Go straight ahead at the next roundabout. Take the fourth left onto Scotland Street, the second right onto Furnace Hill, and the first left onto Trinity Street.

 

Public Transport: Take the tram and alight at Shalesmoor, or take the 57, 81, 82 or 86 bus, alighting on Shalesmoor at

H Harold locksmiths. Walk Eastward along the Ringroad, Shalesmoor, and turn right up Trinity Street. Alternatively, take any bus to alight in the city centre and walk toward Kelham Island. Arundel Gate and Waingate are especially not too far to walk.
